To be fair, hijab isn't just one type of clothing, but rather, the concept or act of being modest. So it can incorporate and encompass a wide variety of wear and practices. People can follow whatever religious beliefs they want as long as it doesn't violate the rights of someone else. Nike is showing respect for their religious beliefs, that's why they're being praised. Women who wear hijabs will still have to wear them regardless of Nike making sport hijabs or not. The difference is these women can now practice sports wearing this practical and comfortable hijab. It's allowing women to do things they couldn't before.
