If 'unique', 'interesting' and 'rich' are the qualities which you seek, you should be complimenting Hey Girl, Come to Mama, Sinner's Prayer, Grigio Girls and Just Another Day, not Dancin' in Circles, John Wayne and Diamond Heart, which are great bops, but more conventional and basic as compared to the former ones. This is a contradiction of yours. No it's not . I don't find DIC,JW,DH etc. to be amazing or unique or awesome. I said they are enjoyable and good.. Something being unconventional doesn't make it good. Those songs are not UNIQUE or interesting, they are just retro and belong in another era in music. The style of the song, the genre, doesn't make a song good or bad. A pure pop song can be great and can be bad. A retro song as well. I judge the songwriting, the quality of the production, the melody not the genre that Gaga tried to go for. You have a very mistaken point of view on music

The thing is this era will probably go on for two more years until the next album is out. I'm not 'trying to love it' because this era lasts for two more years, I love it because it's good. I'm just trying to tell you to open your mind and appreciate the gem within it which I see. I don't get a penny for convincing you. You are free to include one more album into your 'mediocre music list' (although many other fans would beg to differ).

You have an obligation to respect my opinion though and to not pretend like I am musically stupid and ignorant because I dont like an album AS MUCH as you do. I do not think that Joanne is a bad album.I just don't think that it's a great one. I listen to Lorde,Lana,Bjork,Florence,Madonna,Aurora,Mariah etc. that are all (or have been) x50 more experimental than Gaga. It's not that I have a close mind and that I like only poppy and catchy songs,it's that I find the album nothing more than okay.. You need to understand the difference

This is not an "artists I have listened to" list. It's artists I love. I've listened to Michael Jackson,Prince, metal bands etc. but I didn't like them that much so I didn't put them in the list
