I consider myself a Christian, and I find this pastor a bit condescending too... Who is he to know Gaga's personal relationship with God? She does have one, and she believes in God. It's always so black and white with some christians... Maybe he thinks the next album should be gospel (please no! )

Gaga was distracted during mathematics as much as I was but I bet she had better scores. I couldn't never take that hard courses...

I find it interesting, how people give and find their own intepretations of the song, even though it could be considered to have only one meaning.

But yes, that's what I think and do too. It's the persona of Lady Gaga that might distract the pastor to think so...

I did both as well, although my pre-calc teacher was very subjective so doing it a different way would be counted as wrong and I ended up not doing that well in the class. Even if it made more sense to me to solve things the way I did

I'm a firm believer in education for the sake of education, but that being said, I've always had a bit of an issue with these advanced math courses. I just feel like they should be required only for people going to into math-heavy fields. I had to go all the way up to pre-cal in college, and I've never used anything beyond algebra in my day to day life or in my career. Learning all about triangles in trigonometry sure isn't helping me with my taxes this year.
