I didn't say that way to miss the point I called big butts and lips 'black features' not 'culture'. I'm talking about historical depictions and fascinations with black bodies from Saartjie Baartman who, among other black women, was exhibited in freak show exhibitions because of her big butt to the Beyonce's, Rihanna's and Nicki Minaj's of today. This isn't even a point against Iggy, it's a point that marketers and consumers propped up a woman with a typically black body, with typically black features to perform as a caricature of a black woman by adopting a fake black accent, appropriating black music and performing as a representation of black women. You just excused her racism and problematic representations of black culture in order to avoid taking responsibility. You are supporting a modern day minstrel, an offensive representation of black culture. You admit that her accent is offensive, her caricature of black women is offensive, her racist statements are offensive - but as a consumer you like this entertainment so you are okay with letting all of this slide and supporting this minstrel show.
