This was background same sex couples, that's like being an extra and thinking you're going to hit it big, from being gay kiss partner number 12, like...that's not realistic. im afraid because of general audience appeal, gay people and main characters won't really be a thing in kids shows for a long time, or maybe ever at this pace. There is still a stigma attached to somehow "teaching children to be gay" and it had so far lasted beyond the movement it was started in during the '50s-'70s.
