I love Gaga more than any other artist out there but the fact that you guys are assuming he's referring to her infers that you think she's flopped also. A lot of people on here would be lying if they claim they haven't said once that they miss her old sound since Joanne has been released, so why are you complaining that Ed hasn't changed his sound throughout his career? He's referencing a few artists in my opinion and Gaga is one of them. It's a fact that her first two albums were her peak. ARTPOP is my favorite album of hers but I'd be lying if I didn't say it was her lowest point in terms of brand. You can listen to Joanne and say you miss pop/EDM Gaga...that's allowed. It doesn't mean you dislike the Joanne project or don't appreciate what it represents for Gaga's growth as an artist.

Swan Heart 7,382
That's called being a businessman, not an artist. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

mic 1,415
I mean he is kinda right. Imagine where Gaga would be if she kept the TF/TFM/early BTW quality instead of trying to be more artistic than the others. She wouldn't have to perform at Oscars, play in AHS or record an album with Tony Bennett to be respected.

ARTPOP, in terms of sound, is very much consistent with TF/TFM/BTW and it is constantly seen as her "flop" that she needed to "comeback" from. Her issue is that her persona became disliked by the GP, which is why she had to reinvent her image. Trust me, after the world sees what a stick up, self absorbed jerk Ed Sheeran is he'll probably have to reinvent his image to. You never consistently remain on top and he'll learn that whenever Subtract comes out.

StrawberryBlond 14,649
Could I just say, what's with all the ginger insults? As a redhead myself, we have to deal with cracks about our hair colour all the time, even if it's just in good fun. Considering us to be unattractive is the most common one and I'm sad to see that so many people are directing this kind of thing at Ed. Hair colour never makes someone unattractive, it's about their collection of facial features. I don't get why hair colour is a defining factor in that. Just imagine that these kind of aesthetic insults were directed at any other group. Would it be acceptable then? A bit of a downer, I know, but it just bugs me to see such insults about people like me being so accepted, especially around here, where people preach anti-bullying. It's the other way around actually. Meat dress will be most shamed thing she's ever done til her death. Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
