Ed Sheeran shades artists who fight for creative control over their albums

Was listening to Ed's Beats 1 interview when waiting for the premiere of Green light and he said a few things that pissed me off. Especially where he attempted to shade artists who don't listen to other people when deciding their musical direction. I was still annoyed and then I finally found the quote online from what he said

He was talking about how he swapped out a song that he described as a "classic" for a simple fun radio song because his label requested him to do so, he then said the following:

 Also a part of me thinks he was referring to LG in that first part because it was after her second album that her success began to dwindle and she stopped listening to her label etc

He repulses me tbh. It's like he's saying if you don't listen to others and take creative control then you're cocky and "up your own arse"
