Her streaming has always been low in the recent years. I understand that if she wanted it she could had release a trendy song and have more streams, but I don't think PI damaged her streaming power. Streaming is the future, if you do not evolve to fit the future, just like an old product, you won't be a hit anymore. If Gaga does not get her act together with pop music, she won't have hits in the future because streaming is everything. You can be top 5 on iTunes, top 25 on radio, but if you don't have streaming you will only be top 30 the charts (aka MR). Thankfully the SB saved that song. And that's why the Hot 100 doesn't make a star. If that were the case Beyoncé would be irrelevant but she's one of the biggest stars. This was her opportunity to fix her streaming audience, she could have released a pop song that would have been high on streaming and reverse her low audience which could have been done. Instead she released an indie rock song that damaged her even worse because if she released a pop dance song, it would have been a streaming hit and repair her album streams and monthly listeners by attracting new people. Its not like lets say in 2020 people will be like "look a new gaga single!
