Streaming otherwise is a relatively unfair platform compares to radio:If you have a deal with them ,they can keep promoting a song until it becomes a small hit even if GP show no interest in it, they can manipulate the playlists and they are capable of faking the numbers( I don't have any evidence so it's just a suspicion )
and unlike radio, the streaming platform's main users are often limited to specific groups such as teenagers.

That doesn't make any sense. With streaming If you don't like the songs on a playlist you just don't subscribe to it. Sure some playlists are promoted but not anything more aggressive than how Top-40 radio pushes certain songs into our ears. 

I bet if Gaga was strong in streaming and weaker in radio you'd be singing a different tune.

Gaga could easily get a streaming hit, just not with Million Reasons, or anything on Joanne for that matter. It's not Gaga that's the problem, it's the Americana-influenced sound she's trying to promote this era that is basically nonexistent on streaming platforms.

I mean, DIC has the best shot of become a streaming hit. Also, the album as a whole is doing well, which goes to show that people are going to stream Gaga's music. But when it comes to singles in the the mix with all the other singles, MR or PI or whatever it is is just not the same kind of sound as everything else.

He is talking about auto-plays.. They dont really need to listen a song for streams.

yep, usually the biggest ones, and plus it depends on how high they are, probably someone puts a playlist to see how it is, if 'x' song is one of the first 5 songs it will always be played unlike the songs that are in the lowest spots, because they had to leave, they got bored, etc... while in the radio, every song have a spot and will be played no matther what

Not sure what malls have anything to do with this.... Those who can only afford free services and access to limited playlists - I don't consider it unfair because the music is still consumed and consumers have a choice. 

With streaming people are listening to music more than ever. Yes there's more **** than ever before but there's also access to great music.

Malls was just a example.. I mean sometimes i use playlists too but when im busy or something playlist keep going playing so i give them streams even if i dont want to.
