He did not lie to Congress. The question was about The Trump Campaign not as him as a Senator. As a Senator it is his job to meet with foreign officials, do you guys want him to not do his job? You guys are all hypocrites, you want me to show you pictures of democrat senators with Russian Officials or Schumer eating donuts and coffee with Putin, laughing having a good time?

Pelosi and Schumer both had meetings with Russian Ambassador/ Putin IN PUBLIC with the PRESS right there- nothing secretive. 

Sessions on the other hand met with the Russian ambassador in PRIVATE with none of us knowing until a few days ago, during the campaign trail. On top of that, he misled the Congress when he swore an oath in his confirmation hearings. And now there's this:

No he didnt. He didnt mislead anyone. he answered the questioned asked, he met with Russia as a senator, all senators meet with foreign officials, it is there job. Sessions did nothing wrong, he answered the question. They did not ask him as a senator did you meet with Russia.

Schumer wasn't meeting behind closed doors, in secret and lying about it. 

Fundamentaly, there is nothing wrong with meeting with the Russian Ambassador. If that's all there was to it, there wouldn't be an issue. The fact that it has been secretive, during a time when 17 intelligence agencies stated that Russia hacked and meddled in the election, during a highly questionable timeline, with the events at the RNC, with Flynn making deals with this Ambassador over sanctions, and they've all been lying about it....is the problem. 

Anyone can see the differences in these two situations. That's not hypocrisy, that's common sense and using your brain.
