darkchylde 14,857
I really don't understand though. It's 2017. Gaga, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Katy... all have chosen to wear fur when they could still afford, for quite the same price for them, perfectly fake fur. I mean, if even you and I can now afford fake leather (prices are very similar to real leather nowadays) why choose to wear skin? It's just sick. Fur is ridiculous. Especially since she helped design a rabbit shoe out of rabbits.

It's still bad, but to me it isn't as bad as buying new and promoting the current fur epidemic. Although it does still promote the fur trend. I'm really conflicted on this. 1 I can understand this point of view, if true. Even though she "promotes it", she's not responsible for others, and i believe it's quite ok to wear old pieces of leather/fur since the damage is already done. gagaisitalian 3,573
I don't understand. Those shoes don't look elegant or expensive at all so why even use real anything? Those shoes are tacky af and will trinkle down into a Marshall's soon enough.

But hasn't the damage been done with pieces of that have been made for Katy's line? I think fur is fur. And there will always be a stigma about it. Does this mean Katy should just waste 10 years to release this line for the damage to take it's toil? I just think that people just stay away from it all. It never really even looks that great imo. And it'll always bring out the worst in people.

But she should back away from this now that the cat is out of the bag. And it's counterproductive to her socially woke message that she's been sending out. I call that hipocrisy No I call me eating meat and turning around saying someone can't wear fur as hypocrisy. If there is a difference in treatment between animal being killed for food and animals being killed for fur, I would change my statement. I'm not a fan of being a pot calling the kettle black. Borislshere 53,084
Lets take ugly shoes and make them even ugly by unnecessarily adding real fur to them. Makes sense.
Bear 7,515
I don't actively support fur when there are just as good alternatives, but like I say every time this issue comes up I'm not going to put people down for wearing it or using it. It would be hypocritical of me as a meat eater to say that it's ok to kill the rabbit for meat and not for fur when the reality is neither of them are necessary. I think whenever an animal dies it should be done both ethically and sustainably. Fur can be farmed responsibly, just like meat can- and in the situations where it is I don't have a problem with it.
