Trust me I'm all for equality for EVERYTHING! But I feel like the label Feminist is so tainted, at least in the US "My name is Dita, I'll be your Mistress tonight..." She explains herself very well in this particular case. theres a huge difference between pro choice & pro abortion. they are not the same things at all & there is plenty of information available on the internet to explain the difference further. pro choice does not equal pro abortion. pro choice is about healthcare & sex info being available to everyone. pro choice is all forms of adoption. pro choice respects the woman's right to choose if she needs an abortion or not. people get abortions for all sorts of different reasons. people have actually medically had their lives saved because they had an abortion (instead of leaving another child without a mother and to an extension a support system). hardly anyone (if at all) actually feels good about getting an abortion. feminism is not pro abortion. feminism is pro choice. i have actually never heard of a single person that is pro abortion. unless..you count the republicans taking every option away from women and forcing them to get unsafe abortions. taking away planned parenthood and other private abortion clinics will not stop abortions from happening. please take time to learn the difference between pro choice & horrible ppl. However, in reality the people who label themselves as 'feminists' have totally ignored the true meaning of 'feminism' and have taken it to an extreme whereby their stance is often seen as anti-male. Acknowledging that pseudo-feminists exist is not a bad thing, but saying feminism is anti-male and pro-abortion is ignorant because it's clearly not true.
