You're right, but what will probably happen is the same thing that happened in 2002 when Jean Marie Le Pen was on the second round. The left wing voted massively for Chirac, a right wing candidate, to ensure that Le Pen will not be president. Sure, the Front National is more powerful nowadays, but is it going to be enough if left wing and right wing voters decide to block her ? 2022 is way more likely to be her year, though...
