British Muslim denied entry to US

It's a shame he was denied entry. There is not enough information given as to why he was actually denied entry though. This is nothing new.

It's a shame he was denied entry. There is not enough information given as to why he was actually denied entry though. This is nothing new. 

 

After the "travel ban" or more accurately the Muslim ban, there's been quite few cases of racial/religious profiling of Muslims who weren't even citizens of those 7 countries or never even visited them. You seem to be fan of conspiracy theories and the "CNN=fake news" narrative, so why would I discuss this further with you? It was also obvious which members would immediately find excuses WHY he was denied entry. He is a TEACHER. He had no criminal record. They denied him entry because they could, it's becoming a norm in Trump era.

If it was a mistake, they'd apologize by now and offer explanation and compensation. Having a same name as someone on a no fly list is not excuse, there's this thing called fingerprints.

What Trump administration is doing is called INCITEMENT. It's coming from the people in power and they're refusing  to condemn or even comment anti-Muslim hate crimes which have tripled. Instead they're encouraging them by inventing fake terror attacks, by diverting the topic to security and terrorism and talk bs like "islam hates us"; as if it's entity, as if every Muslim or majority hates Americans and wants to harm them, even America's own citizens, who happen to follow that faith. It's scapegoating.

i remember when I was 5 years old and visited the US for the first time. When I got there, I was sent to a room for a random security check, and it happened for like 6 years every time I traveled there. It was all because of my name, not my race.

I am not a fan of conspiracy theories. I like to have more information before I make a judgment as to why he was detained. The CNN article doesn't offer enough information. Thus, why I mentioned there could be an alternative reason as to why he was denied entry, which is fairly common.

You are so quick to judge me because I don't believe 100% what a news article says. If you truly 'listened without prejudice' you would be more open to hearing opposing views, and not be so apt to label me with dismissive tags such as 'conspiracy theorist' and 'apologist.'

Watch the video above. He passed the security and he was still denied entry with no explanation. It's pretty obvious why, but you can still think there's logical or justifiable reason for that.

I watched. I still don't see enough information for anyone to be able to make a conclusion. I have been selected randomly for the same security check that he talks about. They swab your hands and then put it through a machine. It is hardly 'all over his body'. 

Who knows why he was taken off. Could be for a variety of reasons. Need more information.
