Britney: My real Pop Star!

Every time I think about the word Pop star I automatically think Britney! (Im still pissed at that piece of crap of movie that LifeTime just released this past weekend.)If you were a Britney Stan before Gaga you know why I'm pissed.

Anyway, we all know all her videos are sexy af but one thing I used to love about Brits videos is how energetic they were I'm talking before Glory and Britney Jean, like Toxic, Slave for You, and even Piece of Me, that hair flip at the beginning gives me life, no matter how up or down hill she goes, she will always be the Pop Star of my generation late 90s and early 00's. Yeah she's not very involved and she's always been managed but I think people get more ideas and inspiration from her than Madonna. Not shading of course just my opinion. Aside from anything this one steals the show, and there's not even a single scene with choreography. She looks flawless even when she was going through hell!

Blank Space who?

Unconditional who?

Arabella who?

I was a huge Britney stan (she was THE star of my childhood and I was 5 years old when I bought Baby One More Time). I stanned her from 5 years old up to about 15, and then Gaga arrived on the scene.

Of course when I started obsessing over someone like Gaga, Britney seemed silly to me. She didn't sing live, she was starting to have lazy performances when Gaga became popular. And she was entering into her mega-robot phase.

I definitely will always love Gaga (and now Lana lol) more than I love/loved Britney. But I also can never forget that I had every Britney cd, DVD, and some merchandise. Britney was my first concert (Dream Within a Dream Tour) and I saw The Circus Tour twice right before I turned in my stan card for Gaga.

I think I'll always support her (although I have not bought her last two albums) and if she ever tours again I will of course see her every time she comes to Houston.

Same! It's so bizarre because when I was at The Circus Tour I was SO amazed and thought it was the greatest thing ever, but now when I watch Youtube videos, only the opening video + Circus seem exciting to me. I didn't realize it back then, but Britney was also very lazy during the tour in terms of her dancing and what not. Since the stage was in the middle, all she really did was walk from side to side and all the dancers did all of the work.

But anyways, I can't throw away what an amazing time I had both times at that tour. But at the end of the day now that I am older, I realize The Circus Tour had nothing on tours like The Monster Ball (or any Gaga tour for that matter), or even older Brit tours like DWAD.

Well you have to realize that those were really hard times for her, she was under a lot of legal and fighting the custody of her kids, plus she was fighting with her parents and the paps where always down her throat, all that and she still managed to tour. Most artist would've end their tours instead of counting. So I applaud to her for doing so much when she was so low!

She shouldn't have toured during the Circus era. She was probably miserable with her custody battle, medication, conservatorship, and fighting mental illness. The Circus era was too rushed and forced on her

Yeah they freaking drained her dry. Poor girl we should really be thankful that she's still alive!
