People have their rose-coloured glasses on, they are distracting themselves, they are living in a bubble and they believe they live in this utopia when really behind everything, when you take a closer look, it's far closer to a dystopia. Not a fan of the video though tbh, it just doesn't seem super interesting in the way it's shot and at times it feels a little clichèd. Fan of the retro-futuristic look though, been wanting a popstar to capitalize on that aesthetic for a long time. I like the song a lot, and understand where the video was supposed to be going, but it wasn't executed super well imo. I'm about to watch for the second time, so perhaps my opinion will change, but as for first impressions, it's not my favorite. Edit: I'm on my third time watching it, and I do like it.
