You guys acting like the message is barely there, when:

0:02 Oblivia is the name of the theme park. = oblivious

0:18 ''THE GREATEST RIDE OF THE UNIVERSE'' - obvious

0:33 the great american drop = obvious again

0:38 Katy gets hurt in the Rose garden = not all is as rosé as it might seem. anyone?

0:55 LOVE ME rollercoaster - it's a nod at these couple themed love attractions / but it turns out to be all about the virtual love we seek on social media.

1:05 the drop takes place and you can see how actually parts of the houses are falling apart yet people can't wait to get in there.

1:19 the tunnel full of facebook reactions - like above.

1:36 Rose lost to Simon in a horrible way. Like 17 to 9400. Commentary on the difference between males and females, in general, in politics, in the pop business, in general. Anyone?

1:51 BOMBS away - obvious

2:04 Hamster wheel - we are literally willing to pay for something we still have to put a huge effort into. + we are distracted on purpose so basically we're held like hamsters in a cage.

2:09 Inferno H²0 - obvious

2:33 We see the beautiful utopia beginning to crack, with the only one noticing and being awoken, and that one (Katy) is trying to be heard, but no one cares and goes on and on and on and on. Cause we're all chained to the rhythm.

And these were the easy ones I caught at first watching. Not to mention the people there act like they're brainwashed. Not like they are having fun.

Girls taking selfies at the beginning, social media commentary (PI inspired:stalkga:)

Inferno water = #NoDAPL, Flint?

Or Dante's Inferno? :giggle:

The metaphors are cute, but I kept hoping something to happen by the end of the video and nothing. :neyde: She's just staring at the screen, the only one awoke I guess.

This video is extremely lackluster in terms of the message she is trying to get across with the song itself.

:golfclap: i genuinely liked it!

I like this new aesthetic I can see a theme for her new album clearly. Very family friendly.

Great video that her team put great thought in and big budget! Song is growing on me too.

I ****ing love it. As someone else said, it looks like a Black Mirror episode and that's a good thing.

The usual haters can seethe all they want, nobody cares
