Why Katy doesnt release songs like OTGA and Unconditionally

I mean, those songs were beautiful and when she sings them live she can pull them off without problem. The problem with Sia is that her songs have Sia signature to them and Sia's diction in songs is amazing.

Songs like One That Got Away and Unconditionally really goes well with her voice.

Well, since Uncle flopped, she stopped releasing ballads... I hope she releases those kind of songs again cuz I also looove it

Why she doesn't release songs like the ones above when she HAS? 

Based on the obviously terrible mic feed from the Grammy's...her live singing isn't really full of "range". She has a very limited vocal skill and that's why most of her songs sound monotonous...

When she tries to go all "crazy" and do runs....it's cringeworthy

CTTR would've sound amazing with Sia's vocals tbh. 

I think TOTGA/Uncondionally/NLTM/TD/WA are better for her voice too

I think I get what you're saying, and it's too early to really tell if she'll have any in her new work.

I like Katy and her ballads. I do think she's got a special voice, and it does shine more from those kinds of songs. In regards to CTTR, I think it's just that she's trying to stay current.
