It is where Gaga is supposed to be right now, according to her own words. Also, I think cheerful songs fit her like no one. She hasn't released anything happy like that since Born This Way and it was definitely something that established her as one of the most powerful pop stars with strong statements. Also, the song is amazing. It is one of the most well produced songs from Joanne, it still blends various music genres, it has that American folk music that is so well received (I'm obviously talking about Father John Misty's influence) and once again it's her "come together" anthem. Well promoted, it could be another hit signature from her. Yes, lots of people will mock about Gaga being the "mama" figure, but every great song gets some sort of mockery. I think the biggest radio hit could've been A-YO and I think that's what Gaga and Mark were going for with A-YO. Everything else stands out a little bit but not in that insanely catchy way. They're all great songs but I just can't see the radio giving them many plays. Out of the three, I think Come To Mama has a chance since it carriers a strong message and it's got a real feel good vibe to it. It's got that dated kinda twist to it but in a "cool" way. Don't get me wrong, I love CTM, it's one of my favorite songs on the album, and was actually my favorite snippet we heard when it leaked. I love the song to death, but it doesn't seem like a single option. The message is compelling and great, but it just doesn't sound like something that would do well. Who knows, though?
