Do you guys all really just want more pop gems from Gaga?

After since Joanne was released a lot of little monsters have been really disappointed. They all say they miss the "old Gaga" and that the JoanneGa is not Gaga, but when in reality it still is, just a deeper side of her. I would love more pop gems from Gaga but of course she has to evolve as an artist. I want more Pop Gems like Bad Romance, Telephone , Alejandro, and The Edge of Glory just as much as I want to hear different sounds from her. Do you really think she would be doing the same sound forever? We would get bored of her if she did!

I think that they just can't move on not because of the song itself, but for it's chart success.

It's time to move on; there's only one Bad Romance, only one Born This Way. Keep bopping to it, don't ask for another, and enjoy the new stuff.

I agree wholeheartedly with you. Gaga's always going to push the envelope and take risks, especially with her music. She's not going to keep making the same type of music, and that's okay. She's evolving and changing as an artist. She's versatile and isn't just called "a chameleon in the music industry" for nothing.

I personally love Joanne, and the direction she went in for that album. I wouldn't mind if she explored other genres, and experimented with more of them in other albums.

That being said, it'd just be nice to have a few amazing pop gems, but I'm not complaining.

They've been complaining about missing the "old Gaga" since BTW 

I like that she doesn't stick to just one genre. It shows how versatile she is.

to an extent... like i wouldn't be complaining if we had another Bad Romance sized ICONIC BOP from her, but i also just want to see where her creativity can continue to take her in general. whether it be pop, rock, jazz, soul, funk, r&b, i dont care. Im here for anything new that has her voice on it tbh

I don't understand why people think Joanne is deeper than her past albums? She doesn't really go into any uncharted territory.

People are under the impression that pop can't be deep and that something that's not pop is automatically deep. It's not accurate.

I wouldn't say "just" more pop gems, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I really want her to have another empirical phase. 

At the same time, I want Gaga to innovate and push the boundaries of the pop genre. It's a difficult situation, but I don't think there's anything wrong with Gaga singing in new genre or returning to one where she once excelled in.
