They all seem like they have technique but a huge issue was a lot of people being off key and trying too hard. You don't need these awkward off-key unneeded runs that don't go with the song haha. Instead they replace it with the "No matter black white or beige" part so she sings that bit twice. Followed by "I was born to survive" and then "I was born to be brave" respectively. I was disgusted so disgusted but that's how they have been playing the video since 2011. Even from an American context, it's message has newfound importance with the Trump administration. It's really a shame that it got so much criticism for merely sharing the chord progression with Express Yourself and many other disco-based songs.
