LGBT lyrics removed from Lady Gaga song

Can I just say I've never been so confused as to whether someone can sing or not? They all seem like they have technique but a huge issue was a lot of people being off key and trying too hard. You don't need these awkward off-key unneeded runs that don't go with the song haha. I think individually they might be decent but whoever decided to make a band made a bad decision because their voices just don't go together

In Channel V asia, the whole video is edited to remove the the lyrics. Instead they replace it with the "No matter black white or beige" part so she sings that bit twice. Followed by "I was born to survive" and then "I was born to be brave" respectively. I was disgusted so disgusted but that's how they have been playing the video since 2011.

Singing this song and not singing the LGBT part is like ordering food just to throw it in the garbage. Like what's the point?

That is pretty terrible. This is why I'm confused whenever someone says this song is dated or not necessary. Even from an American context, it's message has newfound importance with the Trump administration. It's really a shame that it got so much criticism for merely sharing the chord progression with Express Yourself and many other disco-based songs.

That is totally lame. Why choose this song at all, just choose another song. :grr:

They could have performed 'I will survive' and it wouldn't be as gay as this was. But as long as they removed lgbt lyrics......

They tried way too hard, but the song just doesn't sound good performed by them. The choreography was super weird and the whole theme of the performance was weird and unfitting.

„I allow myself to fail. I allow myself to break. I'm not afraid of my flaws.“

They are straight? Do they know this is a gay anthem? The song lost its meaning without the bridge and why they rip off the "Can't be tamed" video?
