Bury Me 477
Honestly, Katy Perry's music is SO dull and interesting, I want her to flop and become irrelevant for ever. This joke has gone on long enough.

Its such a great feel better song, and such a bop. I'm sorta sad lately shes ignored ARTPOP, and I hope she sings Applause at least on the Joanne World Tour. Like I mean I got a mimic of her ARTPOP Tattoo, she can't lemme down Monster Ball 2010, Monster Ball 2011, Born This Way Ball 2013, artRAVE 2014, Joanne World Tour 2017 (Both Nights in Toronto)
Stvrboy 1,104
Pop music isn't in trouble. It's just evolving, which is something some of you can't seem to accept and get stuck in the past.

freebit 6,240
It might not be a Teenage Dream-type smash, but it won't tank or anything. Streaming and radio are on her side. There's no need to feel sorry for Katy Perry - she's going to be fine.

Like I mean I got a mimic of her ARTPOP Tattoo, she can't lemme down She most likely will sing it on JOANNE tour, she knows it's a smash And I also wish she had prolonged the ARTPOP era and done justice to DWUW!!! The song had so much potential! It could've easily gone top 5. Sexxx Dreams and Gypsy would've been nice single choices as well

Like I could see her walking through the desert saying "Sometimes a story has no end" Monster Ball 2010, Monster Ball 2011, Born This Way Ball 2013, artRAVE 2014, Joanne World Tour 2017 (Both Nights in Toronto)

prince 4,688
Pop music isn't in trouble and if it was i'd rather it died than be revived by crap songs sung by "pop queens"
StrawberryBlond 14,820
Pop needs to be revived with good music. I don't want pop to come back strong if it's only going to bring mediocrity with it. Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing Gaga have success with the likes of Telephone but it's definitely one of my least favourite singles from her and I think she can give so much more than that genericism. If Katy comes back to smash, I want it to be with genuinely awesome music and CTTR isn't cutting it for me. It just uses all the current trends - chill tropical beat, a featured verse, a political message, co-written with Sia...how does this rescue pop music if it's just doing what so many other popstars are currently doing?
