Her latest singles haven't been very radio friendly tbh. XO is probably the only radio friendly song she has released in a while.

Sorry is absolutely radio friendly, it's done well of R&B/Hip-Hop Stations.

I think the real question is does pop radio have a problem with Gaga? But of course Billboard won't be asking that question :neyde:

Gaga haters claim Billboard is on Gaga's payroll and are constantly promoting her, and Gaga fans think Billboard is not fighting for her

I swear, every fanbase on the planet thinks their fave is underrated and a victim of some conspiracy

The fact is - radio played Perfect Illusion and nobody liked it.

I don't think Sorry is very radio friendly. Hip hop songs need to be stupid and trashy to be on pop radio.

didn't her singles from Lemonade peak higher on radio than all singles from Joanne era?:ladyhaha:

No. Her only hit was formation which peaked at #10.

Whether or not she's a album artist who doesn't need to bother with singles or not, All Night and Freedom deserved to have been hits. 6 Inch should have got more public recognition too. It's all good being an album artist but if you're genuinely going for a legendary status, which it's clear she is, she needs to get her songs out there in a way they'll be remembered. Yes everyone will remember that time she dropped an album out of nowhere and how she delivered a well realised film but what good is that if not many people know many of the genuinely very good songs on there? Idk

I must not have turned on the radio that day.

I am talking about RADIO and Hold Up peaked at 40M AI I think and had amazing longevity. This is more than any Joanne song now

live each day like Gaga might drop an album

As if Beyoncé desperately needs radio airplay :saladga: since the release of her self-titled album her team has completely changed its promotional strategy that comes with every album. It's SO obvious they wanted to make her a big album-selling force with the visual concepts and the entire presentation, release schedule etc and it seems like her team doesn't even care if she's played on the radio or not she's gained her popularity status anyways.

Sis, I try to remain as non deluded as possible but we all know that PI's bulk of airplay came from its 1 day radio deal, radio could not wait to drop the song, giving it the minimal amount of plays as they could :neyde:

They also played Million Reasons and its doing really well

Also, Perfect Illusion peaked at #1 in 65 different countries on its debut, so I think people did like it

No, we just inflate the impact of Bey's last two albums. People claim it has all this impact but still it never has a hit because it doesn't actually have impact outside of the internet (gay pop forums, IG, Tumblr, etc.)

Both Bey and Gaga should be dominating pop radio, I don't know why radio is becoming so much more basic than it used to be

I don't think the impact is inflated, the 18-35 demographic listens to everything she releases. Just because it's not being played at Office Depot doesn't mean it isn't impactful.  Put on Yonce, Partition, XO, Formation, Sorry, Hold Up on at the club and people will know the words.  At least they do in my experience

Did ARTPOP actually outsell Lemonade?! And yet it's called a flop?!

Worldwide lemonade has sold 3million, and in America it was confirmed to have sold more than 2million I dont know what they got this info from.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
