I prefer her when she makes more rock-oriented music, but I'm okay with poppier and dancier. Mask, Moonstruck, Silkwood, Come Back to the Five and Dime, Witches of Eastwick, Tea with Mussolini... Not only strong movies, but she's just effortless in them. There was not really any collab just two singers singing their part. I understand why Gaga didn't want this to happen.
