I wholeheartedly believe this will be better than Zayn's, especially with all the talent and inspiration he has surrounded himself with.

If zayn's album is the standard, then it's a pretty low one to be honest

Weird. I just always remember girls from my high school being super obsessed with Harry. And I know in the U.K. He was always the favorite and most famous. Thus why he always had the most followers, solos, etc. 

Zayn hardly "did it" for the GP. He had one hit single. He's simply known as Gigi Hadid's ex-1D member boyfriend. Without 1D or Gigi he would be nothing.

I wouldn't say "hardly" when his single broke an iTunes record and his album sold well. And he has another single that's becoming a hit. Plus Zayn is more famous than Gigi, more people know who he is than her.

Of course no one would know who he was without 1D. But by that logic, no one would know who Harry was without 1D.

Perrietalk, I mean, Pillowtalk was a big hit I'll give you that. But all his hype is either off of 1D, Gigi, his breakup with Perrie...I mean he can't even get onstage and perform? His other hit single was only a hit because of Taylor and the 50 Shades buzz. If he released that on his own it wouldn't have charted.

Harry just has more star power. Zayn is super unprofessional, canceling last minute, behaves like a diva. Yeah Harry got famous through 1D, but I doubt every interview of his is going to be about 1D. Zayn literally won't shut up about 1D, and he doesn't give the X Factor, Simon Cowell, 1D the credit they deserve.

He's arrogant, cocky, and relies too much on his looks and mediocre singing. So I guess he is the Justin Timberlake or Beyoncé in that sense

I'm actually pretty excited for his solo album. 

I loved Zayn's album but I can't with him cancelling his shows all the time. I never finished listening to Niall's song and I only heard Louis his song once before I got bored of it.

Don't disappoint me, Harry.  And keep your hair short like that, you're way more attractive to me than when you have long hair.

No one knows who Perrie is besides Europeans, so that breakup hardly gave him promo. And Gigi didn't start getting big in the public's eye till 2016. And if you wanna use the 1D argument, than why haven't the other members matched his success? 

Yes his new song get some help from taylor, but everyone hates 50 shades of grey and taylor is coming from a media blacklash moment, so it's success isn't mainly from them. 

I don't know how Harry has more star potential when most couldn't tell his voice in 1D songs, but could pickup ZAYN's right away. 

Don't know much about ZAYN's personality, but agree with the shade towards Beyonce and Justin Timberlake.

I doubt Niall or Louis, or even Liam, will math Zayn's success. They were never the most popular.

But Harry was. That's why he will top Zayn. Maybe you couldn't tell Harry's voice but a lot of people sure as hell could. I mean, Harry covers a magazine and it gets 1,000,000+ likes on Instagram. Harry is just so much bigger in every aspect, he just hasn't launched yet. 

Zayn pulled a Geri Halliwell. He knew he would get more success if he was the one who left. He doesn't come across as a nice person. Maybe Gigi didn't get huge until 2016, but people knew her. I mean she just walked the VS Fashion show when they started dating.

And people don't hate 50 shades- why did it sell millions of books, have a huge box office, and the promo from the movie gave Ellie and The Weeknd the biggest hits of their careers to date.

Regardless if people could miraculously tell Harry's voice, ZAYN's was always the most popular and recognizable.

Twilight was highly hated but still did great at the box office and it's soundtracks didn't do that well. So the soundtracks and music for 50 shades of grey are doing well because of the music itself and not the movie.

We'll see if Taylor's ex can match ZAYN's success.
