Shadow 6,637
Eh, not sure why she thinks she can say these things and not appear negative. Doesn't seem funny even if it came from a comedian. She must think it's cool to be a capital B. Like what happened to her fun, carefree persona or was she always this salty? Stand in the light, cast your shadow. AlphaMonster 1,806
To be honest I do not think Katy is doing something ridiculous or whatsoever. Like Britney's shaving her head and umbrella rage is literally synonymous with public emotional breakdown. And I did not think she made fun of, she literally said that she was not good but also not bad enough to shave her head which is going go go in public. I wonder what Britney could have lived to experience such emotional breakdown publicly; she had everything served on a silver plate. She did not even hustle for the fame she got, it was literally given to her by other people. I've always thought that Britney is way too spoiled but karma doesn't work on her, she even lost her ability to lip sync and dance to her own songs but her career is still not dead. About being spoiled, if you will disagree, remember that she doesn't even know meaning behind Oops I did it Again, that's how much she cares about her music, art, performing
Whispering 18,865
This clearly is a go-to joke for Katy. She needs to find a new reference for being/acting "crazy", something that doesn't make fun of a person who has long term mental health issues. Katy is a public figure and should think about her words and references.
Florian 19,982
Let's stop the hypocrisy. As much as I liked Britney her shaved-head entered pop culture as the ultimate breakdown from a star. Who has never referred to it in his life? When Katy (or anyone) uses it, she doesn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, she's not mocking mental illness, she's refering to a pop culture moment and the sensé that has been given to it. They were way harsher than usual. But I could be wrong. I fell down the stairs once as an actor.

Her intentions are not malicious. Just as her intentions were not malicious when she encouraged an effeminate man to hang himself in her debut single, or queer-bated in her second single "I Kissed A Girl." She is uncooth, and that is half her charm. The most valuable lesson Carrie Fisher taught me about dealing with my own personal mental health issues was the necessity of humor. I agree with this 100% ESPECIALLY the last part. Mellowing out the seriousness can help and it's too bad some people here can't see that
