Honestly, if it wasn't for R Kelly's bad publicity, DWUW would have SLAYED over here in the UK!

But I would have still loved to have seen Venus or even Sexxx Dreams as second single. Or Aura.

the only thing that messed up DWUW was the video, personally I'd chose Venus at it embodies more the concept or art & pop together

I don't like applause. Not one tiny bit. 

The verses are just her referencing snobby art moments and the chorus although packs  a punch is utterly meaningless and the overall song feels empty. The only part that's worth being in the song is the buildup with "I live for the applause applause applause" and I was personally offended she picked applause over Aura. It felt like she wanted to play it safe which stood against everything she wanted ARTPOP to be. 

I do however love the video a lot and I think its one of her best and underrated videos of all time. I'm also very proud of the amount of promo she put into it but that's all.
