The only way to not be the victim of a scalper is to be a scalper oneself. Sad, isn't it.

 Scalpers are just businessmen, pure and simple. They may not be honest or hardworking, but you must admit they are smart. Not exactly kind or moral, but intelligent financially.

Not to mention the term has spread out beyond just tickets. They're game scalpers, con scalpers, all kinds probably.

But honestly, there will never be an end to scalpers. Not to mention people may unintentionally become scalpers, when they suddenly become to sick to go to a show, and they need to sell their tickets at an inflated price, not because it is an intelligent thing to do, but because they need to cover expenses the sickness may incur.

Scalpers are necessary evil. Not particularly wanted, but there needs to be a last resort.

you could go see several other performance from other musicians who deserve the money much more than scalpers. this is what gets me if they are selling thousands of tickets these people must be getting mega rich and they didn't do anything to deserve it and if you look at review sites there is people who were sold fake tickets and ended up getting thrown out and losing their travel expenses. this while other musicians are living on pasta it just basically sucks but if you give money to people like that it won't be long before your also becoming a scalper. There is people doing this **** with food and then there is people starving to death because they can't afford to buy food. a lot of normal people have money 'invested' in war companies and they are so far gone they actually believe they are decent and probably started off by excusing minor things like paying scalpers so they could have a good time. before long they are 'invested' in whatever regardless of the harm so they can afford to keep up their lifestyle and don't even think there is anything wrong with it.
