I just think Britney doesn't care much. Britney overcame so much in 2007 and her other meltdown in 2010. At the time when Britney did that, EVERYONE from late night shows to online, etc. were making fun of her going crazy & shaving her head balled! It was an on going joke actually... And at the time I wasn't even aware it was mental illness, since the perception at the time was so many celebrities doing whatever they can just to make headlines... If it was after all mental illness, then that is definitely not right to make fun of. But let's not even try and act like she is the first one to make this joke! More like the 1000th! Lbvs Egypt. And the way things are looked at now, was not the same exact way then... There wasn't SJW culture & everybody ready to end your career at the slightest offense or perceived offense. Which is why she has done a lot of cultural appropriation. Because back then it wasn't seen as an issue, like it is now. I don't really think it's right. It's well known in the pop culture world now that Britney has suffered/does suffer from mental illness. Just because it's known in pop culture doesn't make it right to be making jokes. I suffer from mental illness and to put myself in that situation, it wouldn't feel good tbh. The fact she purposefully mentioned it twice is what is making everyone go crazy as well. At the red carpet, possibly could be excused because of the craziness going on and being flustered/ awkward. A second time in an interview and joking/ laughing about it? Idk it just is cringeworthy. If Gaga made a comment about it, I'd be dragging her ass too. Sh*t ain't right.
