Like I am not very knowledgable about original BLM in US but Toronto one doesn't let people support them properly. They need to tone down to aggressiveness, and get a decently educated, intelligent leader.

Racism does not mean oppress, racism means you believe you are superior to another race. You dont need influence and means of capital to press others to be a racist. Also, you can oppress others in other ways than using means of capital, you can simply kill or beat a white person based on his color. Black people are not a collective group, they are individuals and thats why some of them do have power over other white people.

Once again BLM (Toronto) proves itself to be an anti-white, anti-gay, and anti-police hate group. 

I know so many people claim this isn't indicative of the whole movement, but this scenario happens like every month 

Why can't we all get along? Why can't we promote love and kindness without being anti-(fill in the blank). 

Im all for promoting black/minority causes, but can't we do that without tearing down other groups such as gay people, good law enforcement officers, and the entire white race...

So you agree with her, you just dont want her to expose these beliefs in public because it makes everyone who believes this look bad!! you do know I can say racist things too like yes white people used to be black but they evolved with evolution while black people stayed the same (which is not what i believ).

It's insanity that some people just keep saying "this doesn't represent the group".

One time in class we were practicing surgery on a pig...and as the pig layed infront of me i couldnt think but realize how much it actually resemble a white person...like from the skin structure to the colour to the hair....

 

And after I made my realization I told the White person I was dating at the time about my observation....And I thought I was really funny...well the white person ended up really offended....

Not really. I don't know the full context behind this message, but I have seen black leaders make similar "arguments" in the past in a way of exposing how easy it is to manipulate language and try to justify racist attitudes or beliefs. E.G, look at history. People believed that Blackness was "literally subhuman" in the past and scientists corroborated it with pseudo science like in the OP. (Even if the science was solid, it wouldn't be justification for discrimination or prejudice, to be clear)

I would guess that is the sentiment behind the post, but it still looks really bad because not everyone would immediately get that

You are telling how american society works. There is no concept of POC in modern day Europe. Europeans define themselves off of their ethnicity not their skin color. When you say that Jessica Alba is not white, it means that you entertain the same idea because Jessica Alba looks white, I just use to the term to depict something when you raise that word to a cultural level like you do, it simply prepares the foundation to entertain Trump style racism. Moreover, US is a nation of immigrants, american simply means people of America while France is the land of franks, Turkey is the land of turks; US is not a nation state, in that sense one can become american regardless of their ethnicity in a way that they cannot become greek or german. Jessica Alba is half of mix of european descendants and half mexican, and by the way as far as I know mexicans are also mix of europeans and amerindians. There you have 25% of amerindian but when you describe her you describe her by her difference, I say difference because term people of color simply encompasses every single people who is not white which puts whiteness as center of racial hierarchy. You apply one drop rule literally, and words and thought processes you use show that you also see whiteness as the central part of racial hegemony. I do not say you have bad intentions but your way of thinking has its roots in the same thinking that Donald Trump has. Cultural racism is not good but mixing it with traditional racism just makes it much more worse.

Society treats white as better and there is such a thing as white privilege, but I am not saying I agree with that at all, just that is how society is, at least in the West. I'm giving you an overview of how race is perceived in the West, including Europe, which most Europeans are more tied together by national identities than ethnic ones, although there are exceptions like the Basque people. I just don't know what you're trying to get at it and I'm just giving an objective view race perceptions in society, but you're acting as if I don't know what I'm talking about or that I'm rooted in something I'm not

I understand what you are saying and agree with what you're saying. There's either a language barrier or something at play because I'm not disagreeing with anything you're saying at all. I'm just telling you how things are, not how I personally believe or behave which is a huge difference from being objective as I am. I just don't know how I can get that across to you other than reiterate that this an objective view of race in society, not my view. This is how it is, and I'm not saying at all this is how it should be so I'm still so confused because I'm not trying to instigate the notion that we should continue one drop rule beliefs. Race is transcendental, people like me and Jessica Alba—both of Mexican descent—prove that because we cannot tell you what we are descended from, especially not me who can't pass for white but can pass for other things he isn't yet is seen as politically white when he isn't socially white

Du Bois proves that as well, as do authors like Nella Larsen, author of the novella Passing, who expose the faults of race in society by showcasing how race is perceived and has horrible merit in society. The idea of race needs to be reformed to account for individuals like myself, like Jessica Alba, like the other people I mentioned to you, as our existence turns race, as it was and still is perceived, on its head and shows that there is more to identities than just race. I'm done for now, I can't go on until you see that I'm just giving you the insight into how race is perceived as a whole in society, not how I personally see race. When people get passionate about an issue and join an organization they need to learn to remain humble and balanced. Some people cant seem to do that
