I actually liked it more than I thought I would. The song is growing on me and this was probably one of the coolest and most mature performances I've seen of her.

I agree. I'm still not sure about the song, and the political message is about as loose and tacked on as possible, but it was definitely a far more mature pop performance from her. No fruit or candy or dancing sharks. I'm impressed.

The most interesting part to me was sing the phrase "tone deaf" with a straight face.

 

It was kinda fun, would have prefered if it was just herself, tired of rap guests.
