Most songs were sampled without credit, which is why she is being rightfully sued. If it was a "movement" it would've had a hit, which it didn't With all due respect to Beyonce, but 25 was THE album of the year in every regard. By far way more impact. I mean it was impactful but let's not act like it was the modern "Thriller" OT: I also think she should've won "Best Music Film". The album now has university classes being taught about it and how it impacted black women. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. I'm so lost and confused with some of you saying Lemonade had no impact. It's comical actually and it just enlightens the bitterness inside you. Again, how was 25 socially and culturally impactful. What lessons were taught and take from the album. Adele also said it takes a lot of people with 25 so how is that any different from Beyonce? Lord please cleanse the bitter and water down the salty. I love Adele and I have an incredible amount of respect for both artists but Grammy didn't even take into consideration how incredibly versatile and a full circle-cohesive album Lemonade was. I'm glad it was Adele who won over her if anyone were to though. What she did in her speech left me in tears so a massive round of applause for her kind spirit. Although Beyhive have it against Adele now I'm shocked to see how they are treating her compared to how us, Little Monsters treated Sam Smith after the Oscars.
