Did she really? If so I love that she did!

For too many reasons for me to get into right now! Much respect, Adele.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

All of you acting like 25 didn't have a cultural impact like Lemonade. 25 sold like over 13 million copies in a failing market.

Both albums deserved to win. Honestly I preferred Lemonade but I'm not mad that 25 won.  Beyonce will return, she has released 2 amazing albums in a row, I'm sure a 3rd one is coming.

Not that JLo deserved AOTY but yes. I hate that this becomes a matter of race. Bey and her family are overrated as **** despite the talent of Bey.

Also, P.S., I'm south east asian so dont even for a second think I'm white against black

I know it was just an example cause NOBODY represents latinos in the mainstream music world but her, kinda. Beyoncé's music lacks melody and she's hella assisted by other people to say the least

Just. Rewatch. Her. Performance. Tonight.

That was unnecessary as Beyoncé doesn't deserve it.

Lemonade the album doesn't. Lemonade the film does. But, they're considered 'one' project, so the album gets included. Adele specifically commented on the film and what it means to black people everywhere in her acceptance speech.

She also didn't break the Grammy so I don't know why people are throwing that around

Also, a lot of you claim you'd take a bullet for Gaga, but there's an outrage because Adele shared her award with Beyoncé? Stay pressedT. :rip:

The bolded is... why people accuse people of "blindly" hating or dissing artists. Whether you like it or not, Beyonce's music objectively has melody and being "assisted" by others means absolutely nothing :air: Music is a collaborative art form. It always has been and always will be. This is not "Best DIY Album" or "Most self-penned album", otherwise people like Grimes would win every award :gum:. These things might influence your personal attachment or liking for a record or track, but they are not objective or even relative measures of talent worth critiquing at any sort of professional level.

It is one thing to be severely lacking in talent AND musical input what so ever, and it is another thing to be massively talented in some ways but not massively having input in the whole process (hint, Beyonce is massively talented and has some input, its just not writing lyrics 1:1 like you all think she should :rip: )

Cultural =/= Commercial.

Adele's album did not get people talking about the album, it got people talking about Adele and the market. Lemonade got people talking about the album, the music, the video, society, race relations, feminism, the list goes on. It was a project. 25 is an enjoyable album, even if though its literally nothing new for Adele, vocally, mostly lyrically, production wise, etc.

I'm really not pressed about this at all I swear...

I don't even consider myself a Beyonce stan, I just can't deal with people's blind hatred/obsession for her. She didn't do anything to you guys or your faves other than show them up a few times :smh:

This entire night was cringe worthy. Felt more like the VMAs than the Grammies (you know..the music industries most prestigious award show). From the microphone issue with Gaga x Metallica, to this Adele x Beyonce Album of The Year incident to the Adele singing off key and deciding to make a tribute performance all about her and her recently botched vocal abilities etc..

All in all this was probably one of the worst grammy nights ever.

I don't think I've ever seen Adele get dragged this much.

Her stunt was definitely a "don't come for me Beyonce fans, I didn't make this happen" to cover her own ass from the inevitable social media dragging she would've endured otherwise.

If she really felt that way, she would've never submitted her album for nomination in the first place. She clearly wanted to win.

Its whatever though.

... :wtf:

cringe worthy and unnecessary she could have shared it in spirit

with this and her embarrassing and flawed tribute (just go with the flow smh) she has lost a bit of respect from me, at least

imagine giving literal trash to Beyoncé, that seems shady :smh:

I bet she did it just to calm down people that will trash her for winning over B. Adele sis, that won't stop them from calling the academy 'racists' anyways :sure:

I hate that people FEEL the need to APOLOGIZE for winning over black people. Just because Beyoncé is black or the most overrated act EVER, it doesn't mean that you must feel sorry for her lost god I'm so pissed as if JLo and us latinos ranted every time Latin music gets snubbed.

It's fake. She accidentally popped it off. She only said she couldn't accept the award because of what Lemonade meant to her. She and her team put the Grammy back together.
