I've literally never heard a Metallica song, but when Lavern didn't introduce them my mouth DROPPED! They are one of the biggest bands EVER!

The mic situation, while understandable, was atrocious.

Call me selfish but I hope this doesn't deflect onto gaga in some way.

But slay at her performance! GGD straights, did yall notice that beautiful round ass, cuz it's all I could look at :giggle: also her crowd surf was everythiiiing.

How disrespectful.

These guys have a long trajectory, legends indeed. We should be grateful they agreed to perform with Gaga.

That's what I'm talking about here. Just because someone is a legend, you can't "disrespect" them like where does it say they are gods or something even then I have every right to speak my distaste in them lmao.

The Grammys and Laverne should really apologize.

I get that #shithappens but it was so disrespectful and bad

GRAMMY is getting worst and worst every year with their technical things. Im so dissapointed at the grammy. And you can see at the end the metallica singer is cleary very rage. He broke the mic and threw his guitar

Guys, relax. I just checked the Metallica subreddit and they're all shaming the Grammys, not Gaga. We are in the clear thank God. They know Gaga didn't do anything wrong.

Because let's be honest sis. The new generation that's watching the grammys only cares about Gaga not Metallica it was probably a mistake, but oh well :)

Oh shut up lmao

The Grammys production is effing up a lot tonight. Adele tribute, Adele's acceptance speech, metallica.

Tomorrow, the Grammys will single-handedly be the cause of the unemployment rate going up

How old do you consider the "new" generation to be though? Anyone under 25?

There's 15 year olds in their bedrooms right now shredding to master of puppets on their guitars. :) I do get that maybe these kids won't watch the grammys so I see your point though

Ok, Gaga delivered as always. But how the **** did Laverne Cox forget to say Metallica's name? And James mic failing was equally disrespectful.

I agree. It was ridiculous. James kicking that mic stand and throwing the guitar wasn't enough.
