Even though I agree with you all in that it wasn't nice of her, they REALLY need to get over the whole #____IsOverParty. It is so annoying by now :grr:

She loves Britney

No she does not. This isn't the first time she took digs at Britney and she even went to POM looking bored as hell on her phone :air:

ARTPOP's revenge just won't let up would it? :diane:

Actually, Katy is still lucky that her single dropping below 40% for more than 24 hrs didnt attract her own angela cheng yet. And if this was 2013Ga, there would be five times more backlash than right now

Y'all dragging her to pits as if pop forums like this aren't what turned Britney's breakdown into a joke. But whatever, sometimes being a public figure sucks doesn't it? I wish she didn't utter these words though next time she needs to be more careful. After all she was there to promote her song not stir up the controversy :reductive:

Spoiler

The contradictions in this post. What the hell did I just type? I hate myself for this

Ahh okay so it is just people being thin skinned (correct saying?) and overreacting? I kinda assumed it was but I didn't wanna say anything and get torn to shreds incase it is a big deal :hor:

no its people who actually have a mental illness that are offended by the comment, like me. i have several & luckily manage them well. its people who have a loved one who are offended. and its people who are smart enough to realize that joking about mental health is not okay. ESPECIALLY when you are someone who is even there because of britney, especially when you are someone who young girls look up to. ESPECIALLY when you are someone who claims to be a feminist. THATS NOT CALLED THIN SKIN. thats called being aware.

She made an off-the-cuff remark about what has become an iconic moment in pop culture. Nobody should make light of mental health issues, but I don't think it's something we need to dwell on. Everybody says insensitive things without thinking sometimes.

But how is it offensive? What is there to be offended by? She just said something. Did I think it was a joke? No. Did I think it was offensive? Certainly not. I did what everyone should do. In one ear and out the other. The way she said she was taking care of her mental health, to me, just seems like she had an issue with her mental health and wanted to take care of it, and she did. Nothing wrong with that, right? And what does this have to do with feminism?

Except Britney's lowest moment is still more iconic than anything you've done so far Kety :ladyhaha:
