crazyforgaga 332
NOOOO IT WAS METALLICAS PERFORMANCE AND YOU DONT EVEN INTRODUCE THEM. The mic on the other hand didn't go too bad, they figured it out quickly and starting singing out of the same mic. Im pissed at the Grammys and just in General. 🙄😭

And kept it cool and went to James with her mic so they could sing together. Great performers and professionals that can hassle sht, have tech problems and still one of the best performances. 4BLAiNE 1,028
Considering she didn't have his vocals at all at the start, Gaga honestly did an amazing job keeping track of her place in the song amidst the chaos and heavy music. That certainly isn't easy, and I hope the mic-share will go down as the true meaning of teamwork and having each other's back on stage, that it is. chromadica 636
Just wow @ the Grammys this year tbh... First of all not even introducing Metallica for some reason which is disrespectful enough on its own. They did great but the mic issue essentially ruined it. Can't blame him for throwing his guitar like that, what a mess.

2007 5,291
Gaga literally had the worst performance of the night. Karma striked back for your hateful comments towards all the artists you've mocked.

What I know so far: -Gaga's performance was great, but they had to work around James' mic what else? — They cut off Chance twice — They cut off Greg Kurstin — Adele redid her tribute to George Michael, which some feel pulled the focus to her rather than him considering she could've kept the show going Those are the ones I remember so far

Morphine Prince 103,347
I'm not against political statements but honestly the ones during this show have been cringey AF! Laverne Cox was too busy being inclusive and forgot to say Metallica. What a travesty. Katy Perry's political statement might have been the only one that wasn't forced. **** I'm mad. I have a new respect for her. The whole performance kicked ass - too bad the Grammys screwed Metallica over with the mic -Gaga saved it, and I respect the **** out of her for it. Gaga sang the entire song after they realized there were mic issues. One more good thing that came out of it, the fans singing the parts James was supposed to sing was clearly audible through the TV. Great moment that showed people were there for Metallica. -She seemed to really really know the song. Agreed. Like she had been singing it for years. Katie14 4,828
At least Gaga's mic was fine. Did you notice Gaga kunda sucked at sharing her mic? It was always way closer to her mouth.

By that strange standard, Gaga shouldn't be there, either. She's got 6 Grammies already, and been around for almost 9 years now. (I know it doesn't feel like that long, for me, but it is.)
