Same here!!! They may have some secret agenda planned against her. No one will say that Million Reasons isn't as radio-friendly as Set Fire To The Rain , Someone Like You ,Stay or When I Was Your Man!!! People are getting into her songs, but radio stations don't... It's fishy!!! OMG ikr? Million Reasons is so GP friendly and everybody clearly seems to love it. It's just as good, if not, better than any Adele ballad. Katy Perry's most-played song on Spotify (Dark Horse) has about 3 times as many plays as Lady Gaga's most-played song (Applause). I think Katy Perry is more popular because her music is more straight pop (I don't mean that as criticism, I like Katy Perry). For people who are fans of neither, I think they are more likely to listen to Katy Perry. Lady Gaga has (among other things) a metal attitude and campy style which does not appeal to everyone, although I think it gives her way more rock/metal fans (like me) than other pop artists, and I also think Lady Gaga's fans are some of the most loyal and passionate. But it also means she's not as universally liked as Katy Perry, and not as hot for radio stations. I wouldn't have it any other way. To be more universally liked she would have to give up the things which makes me a passionate fan. Edit: I guess what I'm saying is that Lady Gaga is an artist you either love or hate, while few people hate Katy Perry. The fact that Joanne is different from her previous albums doesn't necessarily help. Some people will just turn off when they hear the name "Lady Gaga". Some people in business have had it out for Gaga for quite some time You And I was also a stellar ballad and it got a decent airplay back at the time and ever since then things have changed out of all recongnition chart-and-radio-wise.. MR is appealing tho. It always seems like she gets treated differently from others. MR is #3 on Itunes, has been top 20/10 for weeks and radio just don't play it. These days, anything that went viral, radio DJs will have to talk about it. People will also talk about it with each other. Social media is the place for us to spread Gaga's work like wildfire. Get things trending. Like #MetalliGa This will get the straights wonder what MetalliGa is and they will find out that it's the Grammy performance. Facebook is the best place to target the straights. Honestly, I've had realised the unfair treatment she gets since years but now the situation is getting ridiculous. I mean, with her previous recent songs radios refused to play them so the songs, because of the 0 support radios were giving, started to fall on itunes.
