A song that literally changed my life. I was 16 at the time and I convinced myself I was straight because of things like gay and f****t constantly being used as an insult at school, and anyone that was seen to be stereotypically gay was looked down upon. It was so bad that whenever I got a birthday cake I'd wish that I'm not actually gay. Gaga and this song in no shadow of a doubt helped me along over the next few years to eventually accept myself which is often the first and biggest battle for a lot of people. I can't believe it's been 6 years <3
