Jimmy Iovine (former Interscope CEO who signed Lady Gaga and helped make her a star) is the head of Apple Music. As a fan who has supported her all these years it feels like a slap in the face for me to miss out on something just because I don't use Apple. I'm just as excited to see John Wayne as anyone else but I have to wait for a week while everyone else talks about how good it is and I'm just sat here like a loser kid sitting at the table by myself. That's why I joined fanclubs for Japanese musicians, and get the exclusive merchandises than non FC members will ever own unless someone buying from members or ex members on ebay for lots of $$$$, or attending exclusive secret shows only for FC members. Fame, sure, but money beyond everything she wants to have is pointless. Personally, I think Gaga would make music for a living, whether it pays 2 millions a month or minimum wage. What you are seeing as an exclusive trend is the management reaction to her losing 'fans'. They can't hand out very cheap tickets over extended areas because most of those zones wouldn't even sell out. In turn, they make everything a little more 'exclusive' and expensive, so that people that already support her no matter what will have to pay a little more. My only complaint is because this happened, she won't come to certain countries that would have little participation to her concert (for example, Romania. She wasn't here since BTWB and it's not a coincidence that Gaga was at the top of her fame around that time and that allowed her team to tour in poorer countries, Romania included). The fault falls on the shallow people that jump boat at the first single they don't like.
