Yes, I can see that, but when, I don't know. Maybe if she gets another era as prominent as TFM. I usually can't see her as a featured guest but I think if she's gonna be someone's guest, her appearance and performance must wildly be different from the main performer that puts her in a different iconic lane that is truly Gaga.

I was having this conversation with someone last night, actually. 

There were rumours last year that the NFL had considered a 'Best of Half Time' theme to celebrate it's 50th show. In the end, they went with Coldplay's intertwined reference to each show. They couldn't really celebrate their first fifty years without Michael - the man who defined the half time as the spectacle it is today. 

Perhaps for another anniversary - now that they've passed the real big milestone - they will have multiple past performers in tribute. It wouldn't be as offensive to the likes of MJ, as it would be celebrating more recent shows... not the first 50. 

I think it's very, very likely they'll go down this route eventually. Quite simply, they will run out of appropriate guests soon enough. Iconic pop stars are running out. They don't make them like they did in even as recent as the 2000s - Gaga, Katy, Rihanna ect. 

Once Rihanna, Taylor, Pink, Shakira (?), Xtina (?) have had their shot - who is next? Artists today like Ariana (as great as she is) are not iconic and nor will they ever be. Everything is the same nowadays. Gaga is the last artist to be unashamedly pop but also unashamedly artistic and out there. 

So yeah, I definitely think they'll invite old performers back for a show. And we all know Gaga would be a guarantee... she's had the best show show since Michael and Prince.

Gaga gave them their second highest rating and the NFL considered her HT to be the best since MJ. There were no messy controversies/gates. They will definitely be open to inviting her again even as a guest.
