Anybody else think it was kind of predictable?

I bet the OP wouldn't feel this way if the roof performance hadn't been leaked early.  That was ICONIC and like nothing she or anyone else has done before.  The straights who had no idea it was coming were FLOORED.

Well, isn't this another predictable response from some in this fan base? She did what "the masses" love about her and her popularity exploded worldwide from a world class stage. This was the Super Bowl we're talking about, everyone and their kids were watching.  So I think playing it safe was smart because she won over people from different backgrounds and might have gained new fans from a new generation or brought back many that used to write her off.

I think she did perfectly fine with this SB performance and it was a perfect opportunity to bring publicity to her upcoming world tour, which will give her far more room to be provocative and daring, as well as including other songs from Joanne and other albums.

Do your own research.

You couldn't have asked for a better setlist to be honest. She played Telephone for goodness sake. And I don't care that it may have been predictable regarding set list. That is what I wanted and judging by the huge spike in sales, it's what the public did too.

Everything was amazing.

The only flaw of the Setlist was that she chose Telephone over Applause and paid ARTPOP dust but you know what? I got over it.

I was sad that Alejandro didn't make the cut I thought that was a GP fave too? ;(

NFL named her halftime show second best behind Michael Jackson so I think we're good y'all.

We all thought she'd do edge of glory and you and I and John Wayne to appeal to the dads and the Super Bowl performance is supposed to be a greatest hits tribute to your career

I agree with the OP not gonna extend my opinion in fear of backlash BUT it was a great show nonetheless

Well it was kinda obvious what songs she would perform (although Telephone and DITD got me shook up) but that wasn't a bad thing at all. It may seem kinda predictable to her fans who analyse her every move, but to most people I think it was far better than they were expecting

Also because there was so many leaks we kind of knew what to expect. If the leaks didn't happen absolutely none of us would have guessed that she would start on the roof with an army of 300 drones while performing God Bless America

If Gaga's SB performance that is being hailed as one of the top two or three of all time, linked with legends MJ and Prince, was that disappointing to you....it is clear that nothing she does is ever going to be good enough for you!

Maybe it is time to look for some other artist to stan, one that will meet your unreasonable needs. :smh:

The great thing about this show is that we'll enjoy it just as much in 5, 10 and 20 years. The setlist was perfect.
