If you use earphones or headphones that aren't high end, the difference inquality of the song file isn't going to be heard. So I'd suggest only buying music in this format if you have the tools (expensive earphones + portable player with lots of space) to enjoy them. Although you can hear the some differences without (especially if they did a good job on the production and mixing/mastering end). But it's not really ideal for that. I'll be testing Born This Way out, since it was very compressed as a final product, but this format could easily open it up a lot. I have hi-res copies of Britney's In The Zone and Rihanna's ANTI and they're both really stunning releases. Lots of new elements brought into the production on Britney's especially.
