I think it's based on impact, which Christina did make. She also has been active all these years, she just hasn't been consistently on top but neither was Madonna, Cher, Whitney or Patti . I don't mind her wanting to learn a new instrument but she should excel before rehearsing in actual performances. Yet, technically she's still amazing.
