Is giving women the freedom to decide what to do with their bodies wrong? It's none of our (men's) business. I get that a lot of people think that telling women what to do is pushing us forwards, but it really is pushing us backwards.
Trepadation 5,566
@Zsolti didn't you say "nnn lemme not get a wp", quoting about how trump should get rid of the Islamophobic stuff under the tread 'trump to keep LGBT protection?

It just shows you know nothing about their cultures and beliefs, besides what you read on certain sites. Maybe not consciously, but no self-respecting woman would and should wear something like this. That's that. Please correct me if I make any grammar mistakes, I want to master English as much as possible.

The second picture is just dumb. But nuns are not judged as oppressed in Western society, women in hijab are. Not every Muslim woman wears hijab either. And second picture is not dumb, maybe you have trouble understanding it. FreePalestine

I said that because Islamophobia is completely justifiable, despite what this self-destructing PC culture thinks. Not respecting a religion that oppresses women, wants to stone gays and behead hypocrite followers (a.k.a. "moderate" Muslims) is normal. I'm leaving this thread. I, a gay immigrant, happen to be friends with two single muslim women who decide to cover up. Both of their families don't cover up - not even their hair - and both of their families respect their decision to express themselves through covering up. They both fight for women rights, including abortion rights, equal pay, and the freedom to wear whatever they want. It's both, terrifying and funny, how the whole world has little to no knowledge about something and base their sexist opinions on prejudice, racism, and fear. SFDMQ 3,397
There's a difference between culture and religion. Even though they are always related to each other but sometimes culture exists outside of religion. Women were forced by their men to wear face veil, that is culture. So don't hate Islam because of that
