Comparing a piece of clothes to punching and jailing?  Yikes.

If they choose to wear it, it's simply none of your (MEN's) business. 

Even if they are "lost cause", you are nobody to judge them and force them to be fined for the way they choose to dress.

But, you know, in Muslim countries if women don't wear this, they can be literally punched, jailed, or stoned.

Also, it IS all of our business, because we don't want to accept such a form of hatred and oppression being promoted.

You never brought reliable statistics, I've seen you discussing these topics before so the knowledge of history and these cultures is absent too.

Rational? Maybe in your mind. It doesn't affect you in any way, you just want to control them, like the men you want to protect them from. It's other side of the coin.

If they want to ban this in banks, public and government buildings IT'S FINE!!. I can't wear a mask in a bank, so neither them should wear anything that covers their face.

Maybe it doesn't affect me in the short run, but in the long run, if such a thing will be promoted and seen as 'normal', it can open up a whole lot of room for oppression in the next years, even for our relatively developed society, then it will affect women drastically.

They are not hiding their face because they don't feel free or because they're afraid or because they don't feel like human being, that is all your assumption and prejudice. It just shows you know nothing about their cultures and beliefs, besides what you read on certain sites.
