I'm honestly surprised that Bon Jovi have never been asked. After Gaga, they were one of my top choices. And Rihanna has a lot of great singles, again, surprised that she's never been asked (how would she choose from her vast array of hits)? And I know this may not be the most popular choice, but honestly, I think J-Lo. On The Floor, Let's Get Loud, Papi...lots of songs to make you dance, this could work. She'd probably pull on low-rate guests like Pitbull but that's par for the course. She has a lot of good singles that could get the party started. And speaking of getting parties started, Pink would be another awesome choice. But I think there's been too many women as of late and too much pop. Males and/or rock music might well be the next trend for a while.

Surprised at so many people suggesting Taylor. Yes, she's mega successful and yes, girlie songs aren't a barrier (most of the women they ask make their music unapologetically for women) but the biggest factor against her is that her music just simply isn't uptempo enough. Most of it's mid-tempo ballads. SIO, WANEGBT and IKYWT are the only uptempo hits she's had. SIO would work well in the climate (cheerleading chant and all) but football fans would be appalled at how bad the song is and WANEGBT is just too teenybopper and childish. So, what else can she perform? Her work is too relationship-orientated, too personal and too young to work in this situation. Perhaps that's why she's never been asked although she's been around 12 years, had 5 albums and has never flopped yet?

My first choices would be:

1. Daft Punk (Been waiting for this since The Black Eyed Peas did it)

2. Queen + Adam Lambert

3. Giorgio Moroder, Adam Lambert, Nile Rodgers and some other disco artists

I'm so done with popstars now, I want to see bands or just something different. Except if it was Rihanna, she has a lot of great songs.

Rihanna should do it, don't know why i don't see it happening.

Though Rihanna and Drke or Eminem could happen. Even so, they probably want someone less controversial.

Next year, most likely, won't be a pop star

And poor Mariah Carey never was even thought to be able to do this.. Well she's beyond deceased now. Also Christina is still able to do a show like this and has songs everyone knows.

It could also be a group like Lady Antelebum with Trisha Yearwood, Keith Urban or something like that, a group of 4/5 artists and each sing they're own hit and a favorite song altogether. That used to happen before.

It's probably going to be an All American super band made out of country singers just to compensate all the gayness Gaga will unleash this sunday

First choice: Rihanna

Second choice: Taylor Swift

I know I know Taylor Swift! WTF?!

But I genuinely think she'd be a good choice. 1989 was a massive success, and who knows what she's bringing with her next release. And for some reason it only feels natural she'd do the Super Bowl soon.

Britney Spears would be great...but...well....:awkney:
