Brandon has been styling Gaga since the ARTPOP era, and even before if you include the times he used to be Nicola's assistant, which brings us all the way back to TFM era. The fact his own designs are more reflective of her jazz and Hollywood glamour eras doesn't mean he's gonna use those for wrong occasions... She's been rehearsing with dancers for weeks, did you imagine this was only to stand still behind a mic? It's the ****ing SuperBowl, do you imagine one bloody second she's gonna wear a classic gown to the biggest show of the planet? If you really think this, then I don't know what the **** you've been doing the past 3 or 4 years, but you definitely weren't paying attention. It really irks me when people give so much credit to her collaborators... So many people are credited for "making" Lady Gaga, or for making her allegedly better than what she is today. But where are those people now? What's Rob Fusari's last hit? How has Laurieann Gibson been doing those past 6 years? And what about Nicola's latest muse: God knows I love her to bits, but Brooke Candy can't seem to be able to ****ing release an album. In the end, the reason we all love Lady Gaga is... because of Lady Gaga, and nobody else. Nicola or those other people didn't make her, and the reason they can't replicate their success with other people is because nobody's like Lady Gaga. People tend to associate Maxwell with the sophisticated looks she used at recent award shows, but he's been styling her for ages as Nicola's assistant, so I think we shouldn't put him in that box.
