Finally a song that didn’t get a 1. You guys are harsh I swear. This is a widely worshiped track, and the fact Gaga produced it herself gives it that “Gaga” feel, you know. It’s a cute song nonetheless, not my favorite, but with the amount of love you gave Venus I think it was rightfully so this song made it to the top 3.

“Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, **** on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.”

“As a 100% Gaga song that's even produced by her you could only expect a masterpiece and that's what this song is.The song is hook after hook making it one of her catchiest and the vocal harmonies make the song even better. The chorus is one of her best and the electronic production is really cool.”

“This song should win just from the "Don't you know my ass is famous" lyric. This song screams Gaga and really highlights Gaga's producing ability. People complain about it sounding like different songs mixed in 1 and it has too many hooks; but imo the production blends perfectly and with each hook destroys another 1 of your favs' discographies. I love DWUW, but I still wish Venus got to see the light of day and got that killer video. But in the end this is a spacey dance track with great cheeky lyrics and momentum that keeps building as the song progresses. It emulates the sensation of love while educating the lessers on astronomy. Honestly ICONIC!!! Instant classic.”

“Undeniably drawing musical influences from previous lady gaga mega hits such as bad romance, Venus is without doubt one of the most fun songs of the album. Who can’t love the utter insanity of the bridge. However despite its heavy synth pop influences this song remains in my opinion another one of gagas premade hit songs. It is made to be a hit, however its lyrics were in my opinion what caused its demise for single status. The utter madness of many of the lyrics of this song alienated many members of the GP and gaga fans alike. Gaga took the mega hit and placed it into the world of ARTPOP with these insane lyrics and often unusual sounds being the proof of that but it never entirely works. In conclusion, this song is an undeniable banger however this type of sound doesn’t entirely work with the world of ARTPOP mixed with it. It comes off in certain occasions as cringey and unfocused. Doesn’t change the fact I have a large soft spot for this song due to the sheer amount of fun it can be.”

“The bopiest, biggest sleeping hit on ARTPOP. I remember hearing one of those snippets she posted before the release and going NUTS. It's everything I could ever ask from Gaga: not so accurate references, absurd metaphors, retro sounds, great hooks and the potential to be as big as Bad Romance and go viral with the Venus screams and planets bridge. Not my favorite but a good 2nd best to Gaga's weirdest, most riskés record.”
