This whole anti-Trump thing is funny tbh. I don't like him either, but now after he's been elected, they're all protesting against democracy

Just the opposite. Protests (freedom to assemble and freedom of speech) are vital to a healthy democracy.

She thought about blowing up the White House (she didn't threaten too, she just said she thought about it) and she told the marches critics "**** you". She also called Trump a ****. All very reasonable in my book.

I love her more now :emma:

It's amazing to see certain people that are so outraged by a stupid joke by Madonna - even though it was clearly only a joke it was still misplaced and stupid - but will turn a blind eye to stupid and offensive comments by Trump, as well as actual decisions and policies from him that will have a real negative impact.

You look back in the past and wonder how things like Segregation, Internment Camps and the Holocaust happened, and you think it's never going to happen in the present time bc we should have learned. But then you see all these alt-right groups spewing hate and garnering followers :toofunny:

I agree. People say worse here when someone criticises Gaga :toofunny:

Not always. But if you say something political you're going to be upsetting half of the country. I just don't see the issue with hating a celebrity because of politics. I may not agree with everything a celebrity supports, but if they are a generally good human being and you like their performance art, then it shouldn't matter. At the same time I guess that you want to support someone who supports your values. lol it all depends I guess.

All of the ones protesting Trump look better than the ones being silent and or siding with him and giving him a chance.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

A democracy in which 1 person's vote has no value in the long run is not a fully functioning democracy :rip: We literally have a system in place that was made to limit democracy
