She needs to hype it for what it is, a one-time performance of a lifetime for her! Her team is has been sh*t with this album. She deserves huge promotion for this. And, as you said, it's for twitter only. More likely for this fan base. Or random people who follow Pepsi. They have the official ads playing with Perfect Illusion on TV I guess, and every NFL game they talk about the Super Bowl and also about Lady Gaga, so I don't know what's the point. That is my point though. Katy's team, Bey's as well, went all out because this is a big deal and it's best to promote this performance as much as possible. Propagaga said few pages ago and it's real that Bey and Katy had a deal for promotion\sponsorship, Gaga is more likely Super-Bowl only contract (even the tour was announced that will be sponsored by CITI). The Boycott thing is kinda normal, even Coldplay last year was like that. People who dislike Gaga wouldn't watch even if it was 12 minutes singing with Tony Bennett so we don't need to worry tbh.
